THE STORY OF POSEGATE FARMS
Posegate Farms is an urban effort to bring premium, local, fresh-cut flowers grown in Tulsa, OK to consumers in Tulsa. Growing the plants in a collection of small flower gardens in town, Ellen and her team plant, maintain, and manage several "farms" in Midtown Tulsa.
Farming runs in the family, as Ellen and Laura are the fourth generation in their family to carry on the tradition of farming in the heartland. 'Posegate' is one of the family names from their lineage of farming heritage. And thus Posegate Farms was born! With Posegate Farms they hope to use their fresh flowers to share joy and beauty with Tulsa through flower bouquet subscriptions, selling to local florists, and using their flowers and industry expertise to educate others through unique classes and presentations in the area.
